O'Dells Brewing IPA

I have a new favorite beer.

O'Dell Brewing in Fort Collins released their IPA a couple months back, and I've never had a smoother IPA. The beer is 7.00% alcohol, strong for an IPA, but the only thing you notice is the smooth hop flavor and the amazing aroma. The hop flavor is citrusey and as I mentioned before, very smooth. It's so smooth, that it's my wife's new favorite beer too (previously only drinking wheat beers). I had a large tab from Wednesday as the wife had more than the usual 2 beers!

You cannot get this beer on tap anywhere except the brewery, but its so damn good, I've just been buying bottles of it when I go out.

If you are lucky enough to find this beer (look for an orange label), taste it, it will not let you down.

When I was living in Greeley, Odell was by far the best brewery around. Don't get me wrong New Belgium is great, but I really miss Odell.

I'm sure that IPA is wonderful.

I definitely prefer the O'Dell stuff over most New Belgium products.

Most "locals" (and I guess Greeley counts), prefer Odell and the "tourists" prefer NBB. That's fine with me, I enjoy being able to get a seat anytime I drop by. The best thing is that AHA members get a free pint anytime they visit. I've paid off my membership just with that.
