2010 Angel’s Share Grand Cru - The Lost Abbey

Wed May 26, 2010 11:05 pm

Picked up a bottle of this just the other day... There was a brand new pack of them, came back the next day and there were only 2 left.... scooped one up.
At $20 a pop for 375 ML, hoping it's as good as I think it is.

From reading Tomme A's report on this beer just now (http://www.lostabbey.com/2010-angels-share-grand-cru/), it looks like it's a killer combo he used to create this Grand Cru.

Looking forward to cracking this one open... or should I save it and wait a while? I don't know how this will hold up... ? I guess there's only one way to find out! Gotta find another one, store it, and drink this one! :D

I'll give my 2 cents on it real soon.... Anyone else tried this Grand Cru yet?

We have the opportunity to drink Angel's Share all the time, but we're close to the source.

With its complexity and ABV I would imagine it would make a cood candidate to lay down for a while. I know I've got a couple special bottles of it I've been sitting on for a while now.

Had it at their 4th Anniversary. It's an amazingly complex beer. It's good now, but will get better with age. Bottles are $15 at the brewery, so you got a great deal SCH. Rumor has it there are a few kegs floating around...
Enjoy Great Beer!

Had it tonight on tap at Rogue in Issaquah.
I thought it was a bit too hot and needs some time to age.
The Bourbon is _really_ strong and there's just no balance yet.
Give this some time. It's gonna be great, but I think it's too overpowering right now.
