Madrugada Obscura

Tue Mar 23, 2010 7:37 am

I brought this beer home with the same giddy excitement I get every time I try a Jolly Pumpkin beer.

My wife took the first sip and said, "There is something wrong with this beer." I took a sip and said in my best Samuel L Jackson voice, "Woman! There's something right!" She looked back at me with her best evil eye, put down her glass, grabbed a Bell's Two Hearted and walked away saying, "I wanted a beer, not cigar spit!"

She totally misunderstands me.

I love this beer, its smooth, roasty and yes, it does give me the sensation of a nice medium bodied cigar. :aaron

That sounds like my wife too. She doesn't like sour or roast flavors in beer, but loves IPA's. At least she likes beer!

Even the name of this beer sounds like the name of a good cigar I would like to smoke. I may have to get some of this and pair it with a good cigar.

I think it's brewed by Augustina Barruna.
