So I ran across a [whisper]facebook[/whisper] application the other day, Pick your 5 favorite beers...
Knowing how [whisper]facebook[/whisper] apps are developed, I traced it back to the actual site, beer.livingsocial.com

You can keep track of every beer you have ever tried, ones you want to try, and your favorites. You can also review beers, and you can link up the site to your [whisper]facebook[/whisper], myspace, or other social networking accounts.

The one thing that I like about this site over others, such as beeradvocate, is that you do not HAVE to do a review to record a beer in your "collection".

I am up to 196 beers in my collection, which makes most of my friends think I am nuts, but I bet that there are a bunch of you out there that have tried far more than I have...

Yeah, I'm up to the high 500's on RateBeer... and those are just the ones that I've written reviews for. It's a PITA when I have to throw some half-remembered impressions from the blurry night before after I've been to a beer tasting party or a new brewery, etc.

this is kinda cool. I've been looking for something like this that lets me keep track of everything i've tried so easily. I know I'm still missing a lot, but I'm up to 189 beers just from "off the top of my head." I didn't know I could retain that much information :)
