i gotta say, the hop aroma in this was amazing. god damn. i almost didn't wont to drink it. just smell it. sheen did a real good job with that. so much so i was expecting just a big more hop taste. but i'm not saying there wasn't enough, i just thought there would be more do to the aroma. that aside it was a beautiful beer. it was very clean and had great head that hung around longer then expected wich was awsome! ( everyone loves alot of head :jnj ) i'm glad the recipe came with it. i might make this pritty soon. oh and sheen. my wife thinks you have alittle O.C.D. puting every last detail on the dottle. but i thought it was great. keep up the good work man. :aaron

Glad you liked it. That's Mike 'Tasy' McDole's recipe, although I took some liberties with the hops due to availability and lack of a hopback. The hop flavor comes out more as the beer warms - drink it too cold and you'll miss it.

The label was sort of a joke. I usually just put a number on the cap, but last week on the Sunday Show they were talking about how Mike puts virtually the entire recipe on the label, so I thought I'd give it a try.

I wish I made more of this. My wife usually doesn't like my beers ("Too strong", "Too bitter", "Too dark") and usually sticks to Heineken, but she's crazy about this "Grapefruit beer". Ten gallons is almost gone, but I did save a couple bottles for Secret Santa!

Here's the label:

I, too, brewed this up. I brewed it for our Christmas party at work and it is so good it is killing me to not drink it up before the party happens. Got to brew another one real soon.
