Hambleton Ales, North Yorkshire England - Toleration

Mon Nov 17, 2008 9:15 pm

Saw this at the store, and figured I'd take one for the team. "Gluten free." "Beer made from sugars. Does not contain any barley rye or wheat malt." "Specially prepared non-malt dark sugars." 4.4% ABV.
Blech! Sweet and cloying almost honeyish. No noticeable hop aroma, taste or bitterness although it's supposed to have Cascade, Liberty and Challenger hops. More bitterness may make it drinkable.
