After a longer than expected hiatus from regular brewing (due to new job, new baby, and new university course!) I'm planning on firing up the kettle tomorrow! The plan is a sorachi pale ale inspired by Justin's Ace hole pale. Not everyones cup of tea but I really like sorachi ace.
A fairly simple pale ale grist, with a no nonsense hop schedule should make for a relaxed return to the fold!

Water wise I'm gonna leave it relatively alone as we have moderately soft water. CRS and sodium met to HLT, 5g gypsum to the mash and 10g in the boil to try and crisp up the hop presence.
I couldn't find a 'brewday' thread section so hope this is posted in the right section! any comments of suggestions welcomed!
Cheers
