Bourbon Stout

Sat Nov 05, 2011 3:11 pm

I am looking to brew a large bourbon stout. I was thinking of just using Jamil's RIS recipe from BCS and then adding some oak chips that have been soaked in bourbon to the beer in secondary. Was wondering if anyone with experience in brewing this style had any tips?
