I took mine to a club meeting last week and had really mixed results. People either absolutely loved it and wanted the recipe/wanted another sample/etc, or they just looked at it like "Well, I suppose it's beer..." I'm entering it in the Palmetto Open next month.

it's 2315 hrs right now and i'm just about to sparge...doubt it will be ready for thanksgiving but i just had to brew this recipe. I'm gonna be a tired pup tomorrow...Brew Strong!!!

Just wanted to give the man his props where they are due. I brewed this recipe a few weeks back and took it to a club judging experiment where we just submitted a beer and it was judged on it's overall qualities and drinkability (no styles). It got a 39, 40, & 40 from three different certified ( I believe ) judges. Nice work on the recipe. I'll certainly be brewing this one again.

I brewed this a while back and finally got my kegging equipment in the mail so this is my first homebrew'd beer on tap! It tastes awesome exactly what I was hoping for and its going to be a hit for Thanksgiving. Im stationed over here in Germany and I'm having 11 fellow service members and their families over and this is going to be a hit I'm sure of it...

Bug, I followed your earlier recommendations in adapting this recipe to a winter warmer. It turned out fantastic. The beer was a big hit last week and only recieved the highest of praise. Loved by beer nerd and novice alike!

I just opened a bottle of your recipe. It was my first all grain attempt, and I didn't know what the fuck I was doing, but I needed a recipe to try and you and Jamil are the obvious brewers to leach off of, like the parasite that I am. I didn't really believe it would, but it actually taste like an oatmeal raisin cookie. You are too awesome bug. If you come by for AHA in MN this year, there will be dry humping involved for the great recipe.
