I am building a motorized hop dispenser in the hopes of brewing this great recipe. Kudos to you guys for doing all those hop additions by hand! I was looking over the grain bill and I might be taxing my system if I do a 10 gal batch. I was thinking this might be a great time to try out Chris Colby’s reiterated mash technique. Maybe split the grain bill / mash into 2 or 3 steps to concentrate the wort. Any thoughts on this?

bringing back a zombie thread with this post; but I just got around around to the can you brew it episode of this the other day. but do you think this method would work with other beer styles? like a super imperial stout of sorts? not wanting to attempt an eisebock at this point, but would enjoy a super high alcohol brew for... reasons...

You could do a partigyle stout/fake-porter. Even do a double mash to get 3 beers out of it - send both first runnings to your heavy stout & each 2nd run gives you a separate beer. A long/hard boil would also help the concentration, but be careful with your yeast at that point or you'll underattenuate.
