Beer Coctails

Fri Sep 14, 2012 12:11 pm

So this week's show is on beer coctails... I recognize that I know of a few... like black and blue. Does anyone know what might be talked about so that I could have some samples ready to taste while listening... and maybe a DOTW run while I'm at it?

Let's see...

There's always the Irish carbomb. And Bubba Gump's has a Corona margarita. I would not recommend consuming both of those in the same evening though.

HTTP://WWW.BeerMixology.com is the site that the Beer Wench contributes to, so I'm gonna guess that they will refer to that and other stuff that hasn't been posted yet.

Yea I was thinking things like carbombs snakebites and black and tan. Not those cocktails. That's way too fancy for me. I don't have access to most of the ingredients or beers

I like beer mimosas. Try a good wit beer or a belgo-american IPA with orange juice. That's how we start our bottling days at Nebraska Brewing Company. Nice and simple and the ingredients are easy to come by.

When I was younger my friends and I had a drink called "strip and go naked" that we'd mix up in the summer. In a pitcher, 1 can lemonade concentrate, refill that can with vodka and add to pitcher, then dump in 4 cans BMC. Stir and drink. It was actually pretty good.
