JZ No-Boil Beers

Thu Jun 05, 2014 12:21 pm

I KNOW he did a Black IPA and I remember a discussion about a well recieved no-boil dark mild or English Mild.

Anybody have any clues?

I am getting moved and once I get my kegerator plugged in, I want to load two fermenters with a couple of fermenters to get some kegs filled. It will be a while before I get my 10-gallon all-grain system up, so first I want try a couple of no-boil batches then a couple of standard extract batches to get all 4 taps running in min time.

Thanks......

IIRC it was just a Mr Beer kit with pre-hopped extract.

Yeah, that's all it was, a Mr. Beer kit.

I remember the Black IPA. Anyone recall the the English Mild he made a while back? I know he did it to prove that fermentation is everything.

There's a good chance it's the recipe from Brewing Classic Styles or something close to it.
