I agree with the guys... You could also stick with an Alt bier, which tastes pretty good! Keep in mind WLP001 will ferment in the high 50s. So if you like American Ale or IPA, fermentation at this temperature on WLP001 will create a very clean, lager-like ale. You'll need more yeast, so adjust accordingly.

Thank you for the suggestions. I brewed a second Alt this past Sunday and only changed the hops. I followed what Palmer and Jamil have said and I am trying to brew the same thing consistently. I repitched my yeast and and it is doing great.
