He doesn't work there.

No but if somebody was selling your recipe, wouldnt you want to know if what they sold was different than what it was?

Jipped. Justin calls JP "Jipper". JP used to work at B3. Therefore, it was a joke.

See it's not so funny once it's explained.

If it helps, code, I laughed.

I ordered two kits of the all-grain version of Janet's Brown Monday; does anyone know if the recipe issues (if there were any) have been rectified?
Thanks,
Curt

P.S. Tasty, if you are listening . . . with regards to process, what one thing would you point to as being the most important step in nailing this recipe? Excepting the dog hair of course.

One thing? Mash at 154F. The recipe should be correct.

Tasty,

I certainly did not mean to imply that there is only one key to brewing this recipe, I was simply being respectful of your time (I'm sure you get tons of e-mails/questions) and wanted to keep my inqueries to a minimum.

I have gathered info from the archives and snippits from some of the podcasts so I have a good idea of your brewing procedures.

Thanks for the info, and especially the mash temp; More Beer does not list this on the recipe sheets. Looking forward to brewing and tasting this one. I'll be sure to bring a sample to the next Doze meeting for some feedback from "the master".

Good health,

Curt, no disrespect felt. I'm all chill on this homebrew thing. I post here and less often some other forums. I also answer a ton of PM's and emails a week. You're in my homebrew club so I'm extremely available. You have no minimum. I support DOZE and have for years worked to improve everybody's beer and enjoyment of the hobby. The BN podcasts are an extension of DOZE. I look forward to tasting your beer.

I'm not clear on why they wouldn't give a mash temp. It's in the f'g book! I'll contact them.....
