empty whitelabs vials

Anybody got a good use for all these whitelabs yeast vials I seem to throw away.

I love finding other use for my trash. And, they are cool.

Any thoughts out there.

thanks man

Don't throw them away. Check out this link:

Send White Labs your empty vials and they will send you stuff. For 5 vials, you get a free tube of yeast, for 10 there is White Labs glassware, for 15 you get a brewing styles book. and so forth.

This sure beats tossing them in the trash.

Also, you don't have to send the vials, just the peeled off (carefully!) label. I mail 5 labels on a sheet of paper with my address and get a free yeast coupon back in a couple months. It's a great program. The tubes can be recycled with your #1 PET soda bottles.

How many do we need to collect to get Chris White as a guest on the show? :)

Quote from the White Labs website:
"5000 vials: Chris White will come to your house, bring the yeast, and brew with you."

Start saving your vials and tell Chris it's a brew session.

Our Club (DOZE) is collecting for the 5000 "come brew w/ us" deal. I'll have to ask John what we're up to now.

I don't think we need to collect vials to get Chris on the show. He's very cool and I think he'd love to do the show. Vinnie C. said he'd work on him for us for next year. Who know's, maybe we'll get a double shot, "Vinnie and Chris" in for a show. Can you say,"Four hour show"? Yeah!!

Cheers,
