How is this years crop turning out?

Once again, its only the Chinooks that made it for me this year, but the bines are busting with hop cones!

My Crop is going great, I have just tourned the lights to a 12 hour cycle, my cones will be wonderfull

Not enough seasonality in Queensland's sunlight? Or do you just like getting hops on a Northern Hemisphere schedule? Are you growing hydroponically? How big is the space you're growing them in?

Mine are doing great considering they are first year, and I am growing them on my deck in a large pot. I have lots of cones about the size of my thumb almost ready to pick. I chose to go with Glacier considering I have never seen them in the LHBS so why not grow what you don't have immediate access to?

The local electric company is replacing all the meters around here with computerised ones that can be read in real time over the internet. While it will be useful for consumers, you know that one of the things law enforcement will be looking for are daily swings of 18 hours high, 6 low that switch to 12 high to 12 low...
