NB Horizon Substitute?

Mon Nov 23, 2009 8:21 pm

I like ordering from Northern Brewer for my ingredients, but they don't have Horizon hops and I have been on a Brewing Classic Styles American Ales kick (which all seem to specify Horizon). What's a good bittering substitute for Horizon (13% in BCS) that NB carries? I've seen references to Magnum being a sub, but NB doesn't carry that either.

I agree, Magnum is a great sub. You may also try Warrior.

They have it listed as "Yakima Magnum".
