Holy Cleaner

So i just bought some 5 star products (pbw & starsan) for the first time...yes because i heard about it on the brewing network  . (i typically use one step) is this stuff really this dangerous. should i be using gloves like it says or is that just overkill?

Any tips for using them? They seem straight forward, but just thought i'd ask.

I doubt they are joking about the gloves. It may not eat your finger off but those safety cautions are there for a reason.

I've been using both for a couple years and never wear gloves. I don't seem to be having any problems(that statement is going to cause me some tho :? ).

the gloves would only be necessary for the concentrates IN MY OPPINION I use this stuff all the time and am a Klutz. All my parts are in a normal state so you will probably be fine. My guess is that the precautions are for legal reasons... i.e. don't sue me you f-ing idiot.

He said on the show that if you left it there it could burn, but that it would take a LONG time. As long as you are rinsing off your hands you SHOULD be fine.
