Yeah, Carapils® is trademarked by Briess, and I'm pretty sure they have a pretty unique process for this malt. It was the malt they were the most "hush, hush" about when I was asking q's about their malts on a tour I took a few weeks back.
I tour Weyermann in the end of November... I'll see what I can bring back on that from the horses mouth.
