Columbia Hops

I have some Columbia. They smell really good. Citrusy and Evergreen. I'll brew an IPA with them next weekend probably. Has anyone used them? If so, what was your impression? How do they work for late hopping?

No Columbia. Like the big ass river that Lewis and Clark crossed. They are supposed to be a new variety. As far as I know only one farm is growing them.

Where'd you get them? I can't find any information on them.

i hope these aren't a one crop deal.
just dry hopped the saison with them and the smell from the fermenter is a big columbus-y kinda thing but almost equally lemony like saaz, very cool hops

They will be for sale very soon at the brew shop I work at. I can let you know when they become available.

Like the previous poster here said, they are columbusy but with a citrus aroma. I would say closer to amarillo than saaz.

The grower seems to like em' so I think they will be around next year as well.
