Munich LME

Tue Jun 09, 2009 6:48 pm

Sooooo... I'm an all grain brewer but have an extract question. I just got a copy of brewing classic styles and in checking out the different extract options theres alot of Munich LME required for lots of the recipes. It doesnt look like B3 or Northern Brewer either carry liquid munich extract. As a pretty prominent ingredient i'm just wondering where everybody who uses it gets it?

http://www.austinhomebrew.com/product_i ... s_id=11514 not 100 percent munich but 40 60 so a good one to sub with the straight munich and leave the light extract out and use this as the whole malt bill.

This one is 50/50 Moravian Pils and Munich. Also a BN sponsor.

According to the Weyermann website, their Wyermann Munich Amber LME appears to be 100% munich malt. Now you just need to find a retailer that carries it. One of the stores around here used to carry it, but no longer.
