I have to quote BUB on this one. Pitch that bitch. Make a brew that you can use it in and have at it. What's the worst that could happen?

I was all fired up to pitch that starter because it was bubbling nicely and had built up about 3/4 inch of yeast in the bottom of my 2L flask. But, when I pulled the top off and took a sniff, it smelled like rotten apples and the yeast sediment was way too dark brown for me. I pitched it right down the sink.
