I've got about 30 slants of various yeasts. Some time this summer my yeast fridge got unplugged for about a week in 75-80 degree temps. I'm not sure if they're all dead. I just bought a microscope from ebay, 640x. Hopefully it's strong enough. What is yeast supposed to look like when it's healthy, what does dead yeast look like, what does bacteria look like? Pics would be great. I'd like to be sure before throwing all my yeast away and starting over!
