Mixing WLP300 and WLP380

Thu Nov 16, 2006 1:19 pm

I've made hefeweizens with WLP300 and with WLP380. Both turned out good. I'm about to brew another batch this weekend, and I was thinking about using both of them. I have the WLP300 in a starter on a stirplate right now, but haven't picked up the WLP380 yet.

Any thoughts on mixing these 2 yeasts?

Henning wins drunk of the week and it's only Thursday. Nice work!

You don't have to have a Ph.D. in chemistry to brew beer, but it doesn't hurt.
