HOPS ....What cultivars are you growing

I've got northern brewer, willamette and goldings waiting to go in the ground. Gonna try and get them in the ground this week if the rain lets up.

I am as lazy as Justin. I just planted mine in the rain. I figure, that way, the ground was easier to dig, and the hops got watered immediately without me having to do that part.

I just picked up Hallertau and Fuggle. This will be my first crack at planting these bad boys.

Anyone with experience, can you give me a sense of how much attention these guys are going to need in their first year? On a scale of grass seed to weed?

Use chicken wire around your young shoots if you have deer or groundhogs. Them sorry bastids eatin' up my goods.
