Yeast Clumps?

Mon Apr 10, 2006 1:39 pm

Does anyone ever get clumpy yeast masses suspended in thier beer when using WL english ale yeast? I brewed Jamils Ordinary Bitter and used a yeast starter. This afternoon I went to check on it and there is a funky looking foam starting to form and floating yeast-clouds in suspension in the beer. Looks odd to me. Anyone know what's the deal?

Thanx!

That's the WLP002? Yeah it's normal. That's some funky ass looking yeast. I use it all the time and that's pretty much always how it looks. RDWHAHB.
