New Kegerator!

Sat Apr 12, 2008 6:38 am

Well, my wife is the most wonderfl, understanding woman on the planet...

Since I came into three free corny kegs a week or so ago, she's finally agreed to let me buy a fridge to put together a system. I'm going to get a Sanyo 4912, there's so much info on teh net about converting them.

I should get the rest fo my hoses, conenctors ans stuff from MoreBeer on Tuesday, then I'll go out and buy the fridge. I only had to trade out old toys for new toys...

Which means that my guitar collection is getting smaller (which I have no problem doing). It was one of those "aww, if I really have to sell them, honey, to justify new toys, then I guess I'll have to do it." But realy I've been planning on selling them for a year now.

So, does anyone want to buy a guitar??? Maybe I'll post it in the classified section!

Back to the kegs, I'll post pictures when I convert it over. I may wait a few months before I add the tower.

:D :D :D :D :D :D

OK, SO its not much, yet. But I've got to move slowly. I amazed at the understanding shown by my wonderful wife in letting me get thism uch keging stuff. Here's my new beer fridge, and my first keg inside. Isn't she cute!!!

Right now, she's in my theater room, so don't pick on the Star Wars poster!

yep, sweet. are you planning on adding a tower? if you are going to have 2 kegs, i have seen people run the gas hose form the co2 tank through the drain hole in the back/bottom of the fridge to make more room inside. that way you can keep the tank outside the fridge.

You said "run the hose through the drain hole on the backside"... that is gay.

YOU'RE the one assume its the backside of a guy! My keggerator is all woman baby, and if she'll take a hose up the backside drain hole, than kudos to me!

That would have been possible if you were still dating your kegerator. Ain't going to happen now that you're married to it.
