Roggenbier

Wed Jan 31, 2007 5:34 am

I just bottled my first batch of Roggenbier. Everything went well and it taste great (right out of the bottle-bucket!). Being this is a wheat beer (much like a hefe weizen), what is the proper way to drink this style? Do I want all of the yeast at the bottom of the bottom? Any suggestions?

PROST !

Sounds like a great question to ask Jamil. His next show will be on Roggenbier.

I think the best way to drink this style of beer is with the open end of the glass towards your face. I have tried drinking from the bottom and it just won't work.

I think trying to drink from the bottom falls in to the category of "drinking problem".

I don't have a drinking problem. It's the beer that has a problem with me. It just won't leave me alone.
