I don't agree with his comment about long lengths being a cause of bubbles in the liquid line. At static pressure, line length is not a factor - it's pressure or temperature that will cause this (or dirty lines).

You also need to keep an eye on the shit that might grow in the tap: I could not get a beer to pour well no mater what combination of temp and pressure I tried, and upon review, I found a length of "munge" growing in my faucet which was aggitating the beer during each pour.
One of many lessons learned...
