Clarify carbonated beer?

so I have this scottish 60 that has a haze that wont go away. I'd like to put it into a brite tank with some gelatin to try and get rid of it. Can I do this or will it be one giant foamy mess? Thanks all.

I do this with all my beers now. If it's carbonated, you may have some problems with the beer foaming. If you've been drinking it the liquid level might be low enough that it won't foam out. Remember clarify the beer a little colder than it will be served. Let it settle for a few days, and draw off a couple of pints. If you plan to move the keg, then you should transfer it to a new keg (otherwise all of the junk that settled out will be stirred back into the beer).
I think I've had about enough beer tonight...Now I need some Whiskey to sober up

Don't forget that you've added gelatin to the batch.

The first pint can be a bit chewy...

"What the...? Oh, that's right, I added gelatin!"

I have done this a few times, you dont have to rack out or even open the keg up to get the gelatin in.

I dissolve my gelatin in hot water, then suck it up with a decent sized syringe (no needle just the syringe body)

Depressurise keg and use the end of the syringe to push down the poppet on the gas in post, squeeze in the gelatin. Re-pressurise keg and give it a good shake.

No O2 exposure, very minimal loss of carbonation, no need to rack.

Works
