Looking for tips for condensation problems

Sun Mar 02, 2008 1:21 pm

My condensation in my kegerator is a pain in my ass, I am sick and tired of the puddle laughing at me from the bottom. If any one has any handy tips I would really appreciate them. Oh yeah I have a chest freezer with a wood collar.

You need a tub of this in your kegerator.

This stuff does a great job keeping the humidity down in your kegerator. You need to check it every couple of weeks. When it starts getting soggy you can either dry the media in the oven or replace the media. You can get it at any of the big box home improvement stores and most WalMarts.

Also, don't open the lid of your freezer any more than necessary.

Without question, the greatest invention in the history of mankind is beer. Oh, I grant you that the wheel was also a fine invention, but the wheel does not go nearly as well with pizza.

Or you can just move to the desert... I can leave a bag of chips in a bowl on the counter for a week and they taste fine.
