Tower questions

I will soon be building a bar and am planning to get a Sanyo 4912 with a 3" stainless tower and 2 taps. I have not been kegging long and I know very little about towers and a have a few questions.

This is for a family weekend house so it will sometimes sit for days sometimes weeks unattended.

1. Should I disconnect the hoses from the keg if I will be away for a while? Is there anything else I should do? I thought about getting a small bottle sprayer with sanitizer and giving a spray up the faucets before leaving to keep them clean.

2. Is a fan necessary to to keep the tower cool or just insolation enough? There will be counter between the fridge and the tower.

3. I would like to get Stainless forward seal taps but I have not found any towers that come with them. Is there some place I can get a stainless tower without taps?

I would flush the lines with starsan or BLC or something before leaving them for more than a few weeks... this will also prevent "nasties" from migrating down the tubes into the keg and fucking it all up... as to the rest I will let someone with knowledge answer.

1...I would disconnect the kegs, Mainly because if you have a leak you may come home with beer everyware.....you can clean out the lines and leave them with water inside, then give them a clean again when you get home....I used to disconnect mine clean them, drain out the water and then but them in a vacume bag in the freezer

2..... It realy depends on a lot of things, lenght of hose, room temp all that sort of stuff, if your only drawing a pint every 20 mins or so you may see a problem, but all you need to do is draw of the first few oz and tip it out, i wouldent worrry to much about cooing the tower

3..... most taps use 1 of 2 types of connectoers to the tower, get on to B3 and talk to them
