+1 again! Code!!!

Doesn't matter how old it is, you'll still be pulling off undesired molecules just in a lesser concentration - age doesn't change what it's made of. They may be low enough that you're able to cover them up with other flavors, or perhaps you're just not detecting them yourself where someone else might very easily. If it's your beer & you never plan on entering it into a comp or sharing it with other beer nerds (& you're 100% happy with it of course), does it really matter? I suppose not, but for me if I'm putting that much money, time & work into something I'm not going to risk anything less than my absolute best, especially if that means <$10 for a 3' white hose & a water jug. If that was the case, why spend the extra on things like stainless steel kettles which are exponentially more expensive than aluminum & have much, much less of an impact on the final product?

I'd buy the 3' potable water hose and connect it to the end of the 50' garden hose.

It's all about the length.
I'm sick of chasing my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're going and hook up with them later.

"Just the tip" isn't true in this situation either. :D
