I noticed that too and laughed my ass off. So nice to know I'm not the only whose life has been infiltrated with bizarre baby paraphenalia!

I call my set-up The GhettoBrewery 3000. I stack it all up on Anvil flight cases, which has worked remarkably well. She ain't pretty, but she'll work just fine until I can get a monster B3 system.

Nice system but it seems that you have a lot of doors to nowhere.

Dan,
What are you using for and in post if I may ask? Kinda like the idea so I can have something smaller than a 5 gallon keg! (And cheaper!)

What's sad is, those doors still haven't been hung. Yet I've had the time to do 5 all grain batches since I bought the damn things. My wife is a patient woman. Well, that or she is just waiting for my new life insurace policy to start.

Hey JMU brew,

I just use a schrader valve that would normally be found on a mag wheel on a car. Not the ones with the all rubber surround, the ones that have 2 rubber washers and a nut to tighten from the inside. If you already have a C02 system though, there isn't any reason you couldn't just do it with a normal taylor gas in post.

If you want some detailed pictures/plans and the URLs for the web sites I pinched the idea from, let me know and I will PM them to you.

I noticed one common phrase in here, "It ain't pretty but it gets the job done.". I think that is the best thing that most of us can hope for from our "systems". They don't have to be pretty to make good or even great beer. Not all brewers have a bottomless budget or even that one surprise pile of money for the next big brewing setup. I will have my ghetto pics up soon. I have to say the same thing. It ain't pretty but it gets the job done. :) 8)

I think that goes for most of the brewers as well...

Without question, the greatest invention in the history of mankind is beer. Oh, I grant you that the wheel was also a fine invention, but the wheel does not go nearly as well with pizza.
