FYI, for those who can't wait, there is a clone recipe in Sept 2007 BYO by Kristen England. The article was on chocolate malts. It would be interesting to see how it compares with th CYBI show. The article also featured England's take on Shakespear Stout (also could be compared to a CYBI recipe), Alaskan Smoked Porter, and Sinebrycoff Porter. Here is the Hobgoblin Dark Ale recipe from the article :

Wychwood Hobgoblin Dark Ale from BYO
5 gal,
OG 1.048; FG 1.014
25IBU

Single infusion mash, 151F.
60 min boil
Ferment at 69F.

7.75 # maris otter
2# English crystal, 75L
.25# chocolate malt
.75 oz fuggles (5%AA) FWH
.75 oz styrian goldings (5.25%AA) 30 min
.25 oz styrian goldings (5.25%) 10 min
WY1187 Ringwood Ale yeast

PS: I haven't tried brewing it, but it does contain malt, hops, yeast, and water, so it's got to be pretty good!

:) Show was great! Beer was cloned. And of course, tons of boobs. But, they were JP's, JZ's and Tasty's.

Will dig out the recipe and brewing notes and post it here when I have a minute! :)
