One other thing - The picture of the six pack that Evan posted probably confused a few folks. Note that Leavenworth Biers is a subsidiary of Fish Brewing Company. It's the same beer, not some random Altbier that he(and I) picked up.

Dirk-

I'd love to get me some of the beers from that little brewpub ya got there in the middle of the sticks out there in little Fredericksburg TX. I seem to remember it took a Medal at the '08 GABF if I'm not mistaken, so feel lucky that you have SOMETHING there nearby. Like you said, there are others WAY more fucked in that regard.

What a great memory I have running around that night for a couple hours with JBrew hitting every table that offered anything off the wall. The more off the wall, the more likely we were to try it. The 2 Texas breweries (and a tiny one from Arkansas -- all 3 that took down medals) were a few of our absolute favorites that night.
Great stuff & great times shared because of the BN-

Given JC's and JZ's responses, I would LOVE to hear some of the listener requests that CYBI has on their "no way in hell we're cloning this" list.

Given Justin's inabilty to brew good beer, and the fact that he is consitently razzed about it, I think the guy has earned the right to make a request to CYBI.

I'm thinking about sending JZ and the crew a custom 6 pack of some of the Quebec microbrew up here in the great white north, and might just send a request to CYBI.
