Suds County USA

Sat Dec 29, 2012 10:48 pm

Just watched this documentary that is going to be a topic on an upcoming Sunday Session. Very well made and interesting look at some of my favorite brewery's, and alot that I can't get where I live. It makes me think of how much opportunity we have here in the south to grow, and catch up, but also room to create our own unique craft beer style.
You can check it out here, http://sudscountyusa.com/, and download a digital copy for like 6 bucks.

Cool. I was stationed in GA back in the 80's. It was hot as fuck and the beer was piss.

We have some good breweries in GA, 2 of them. :( North Carolina however allows self-distribution, and if you look at this map, http://popchartlab.com/products/breweri ... ted-states, it tells the story. Georgia still has the benefit of not being Alabama or Mississippi.

Anyone else here check out the documentary yet? I watched it late last week and would recommend it for those interested in the history of some the highly celebrated San Diego brewers and breweries that helped pave the way for the 90's craft beer scene. I was stoked and a little shock to find you can download the documentary for only $5.99. Well worth it, check it out if you haven't already.

I watched it, pretty good video. Not the best production, but for 5 bucks or what ever I paid, it was well worth it. On the level of beer wars if you eve watch it...

I watched it with my girlfriend. The story is interesting enough to capture the attention of casual beer drinkers and fanatics alike.
