I think someone should point out at this time that no one has to contribute to the BN it has always been opitional. Also while these guys have changed the beat of there programing lately (some not for the better) and taken a little more time off, even the $5 doller donation still gets you a lot. I have seen many of a sites that charge that a month just to give you privliges on there forums to send PM's and view all the content.

So lets all keep that in mind while bashing these guys. Now I would also like to point out that many of you have been big contributes to the BN in more ways than money and have earned the right to speak your peace. I just wanted all to keep in mind that these people have lives (ok, got me there maybe not JP) and families.

Now if any BN casters are reading this and thinking we are going to be taking long hot showers together, well thats where your right. But, I'M DRIVING, sorry thats just the way I roll.

No argument that they have lives. They also don't get paid. I may not like the shows as much as I used to, but I like the forums and the community J and JP have built. I have several good friends in the BNArmy and that's why I am still contributing.

Agreed, thats why I think people should evaluate what you are getting for/or without their money, in today's economy it really is a lot.

Just to clarify because I think the Brewcasters would appreciate it... Unless I'm very much so mistakin they have not taken any more time off than 1/month. It just so happened that the off week for one month was in a row with the off week for another month. They did take some time off when moving to the new studio but they were busy building and moving. I'm actually impressed it was only a couple weeks off there because to get a new buisness up and running in a new location can take a while. They must have worked their asses off. Also they did take a couple holidays like christmas and newyears but that has always been the case. Not trying to stir up a fight just want to clear up misconceptions that they are slacking off more than usual in recent times because that is not true.

Totally agree. And if you're that hard up to listen, then go check out one of the eight fucking billion archive shows. I guarantee you don't have them all memorized.

Please go read the entire post I made prior to silly blastograms to a statement without the entire context, thanks.

Theo, please don't quote people, unless you include enough information for proper context, I know you were trying to shorten it up. But it really does take away from what I was trying to say when posting.

I did read the whole post and while you do give them credit that in this economy you are getting a shit ton of info, resources, and community for free, you did state that they had taken a little more time off. You in no way shape or form refute that later comment later in your post. Yes you give the BN credit in your post and it wasn't a negative post, but I wanted to dispel a common and recent misconception. One that you promoted in that sentence.

I just wanted to clarify that even with all the amazing things you mentioned we still were not technically getting any less shows due to anyone taking any more time off. I wanted to showcase how the brewcasters are even excelling there where some might believe they are not.

I didn't mean it any harm to you, just wanted to promote the job the BN was doing even more. I felt compelled to post it because you implied that they were taking more time off lately and it seems like many people have this understanding for some reason or another but when you look at the facts it just isn't true.
