Wow, I had no idea the boards here were so starkly monitored or sensitive. I would have kept the matchbook closed.

In all seriousness, my post may have been insensitive and inflammatory, but look back at your extreme replies and judge whether or not your response was over or under on the reactive value scale. I made a random post during work, addressing the Internet void; I didn't touch your infirm younger sibling.

Especially making mention that I should be somehow "dealt with" by the Mods.

I mean, come on.

Guess I'll stay out of the henhouse.

And to finish this thread, I want to say I'm sorry, and thank BrewChemist for his reply, which both put me in my place and answered my questions. If you all hadn't felt the need to pile on, all this extraneous jaw wagging would have never happened.

Thanks for making the forums a friendly and helpful place.

Finally, to cut this off at the head, listenig to the show after the radio silence, Justin and Schuman both made very inappropriate jokes about the passing. So, I think we should all save face, and mark this one down on the Feeling Calendar.

Wow. Put me in my place, for sure. Nice.

So, you don't have anything else going on, so you want to start a pointless flame war?

Way to bring it strong.

Reminding me more and more why I stopped visiting forums and chat rooms 10 years ago. I only came here because I thought I would find Beer Enthusiasts who use the Internet, not Internet Enthusiasts who like Beer.

So, seeing as I have somehow offended you vis-a-vis the late parent of a person who you don't even know, more than I would have probably offended Schu himself, I commend you on being both adult and appropriate in your reactions.

Continue this purposeless thread, at your own embarassment.

(also, if someone is still mad because I insulted the webmastering staff, I am honestly apologetic to them. I was an IT professional, so I know your plight, and I spoke out of turn. I deeply appreciate the ministrations of all those involved with keeping the BN up and running. It was like 6 am and I misunderstood the filing system.)

Way to rock that Brewer's Code, dude.

Don't let the door hit you in ass on the way out then.

Wrong. That has nothing to do with it on my part. Having been a mod/admin/tech on other sites and seeing how this website has been worked on VERY hard to be better for the members this is my issue:

D. Coction wrote:is somebody going through and routinely deleting the past postings? On the Sunday Session page, I noticed there was only one page of topics, and that can't possibly be all of the topics from the last four years.

So, apart from the original subject of this posting, would whichever jackass thought it was a good idea to clean up the past board postings, please cease and desist? Apparently you have never been on a message board in the past 15 years, and don't realize that a strong archive is all the rave? I mean, come on, who doesn't love to go back and re-live flame wars?

So for you to start a thread calling the site admins and creators a "jackass" then to go on and insult them by saying in so many words they are inexperienced...I do say to you sir fuck off and put that on your feelings calendar. If you think that is cool or whatever, then you better check the map because you are in the wrong place.

Don't try to clean up your act by all of a sudden posting a response that is polite and playing a poor me I didn't do anything when your first post was anything but.

Oh, okay, I didn't know YOU took the internet SO FUCKING SERIOUSLY.

Really? I can't make a post, based on a misunderstanding, without you, Personally Appointed Defender of Admins, jumping down my fucking throat?

Also, the insult-laced base of my post was intentional, in staying with the established format of the show/feedback. I mean, haven't you listened to the show? Read the forum? Isnt everybody insulting everybody else, ALL THE TIME?

Sorry I don't have a Forum Medal, but I thought anybody could send in angry-sounding feedback. From listening to the archives and visitor the board a few times, I thought that was the general shtick. You no talent hack, and whatnots?

Really. I guess any future posts will be polite and revised thricely, so as not to risk offence. Pardon my misstep, yuh grace.

Now please, stop fucking replying. I'm getting tired of typing on my phone.
Just leave me alone.

Thanks for sucking the fun out of my day.
