If someone tried to draw on or shave a friend of mine while passed out they'd have to go through me first. Hell, I'll even look after a total stranger that's had too much to drink even if they aren't passed out. You know, convince them to stop drinking, try to call someone to pick them up, get them in a taxi, make sure they don't get hurt... To me, that's the way humans behave. The pictures of shaming I see on the web almost make me ashamed to be a drunkard.

And the choking. If Mrs. Tat were to be choked or spit upon, that would be the end of that guy's fun.

I agree, shaming as has been discussed not funny, taking a picture of a drunk girl at a bar...funny, no matter who it is. They didn't do anything extra special to her, they just took a fucking picture.

I bet she is embarrassed and laughing at the same freaking time.

Shit, that's it??? I'm not so sure what the big deal is then. To each their own.

Yup, we know that nothing was done to the woman in the first part of the thread. We were discussing the problems with society as a whole and the recent acceptance of ugly, hurtful shaming that you generally see on the internet. No one cares if non-nude pics or a little jenga is capered, but when the sharpy comes out....game over.

I better clarify since I started the discussion.
I (we) don't do it to strangers or someone I (we) don't know very well. Drawing on someone who isn't in on the joke is just plain "no go".
I will agree that shaming total strangers is wrong. And shaming someone with shaving or other things that doesn't go away after a shower is also "no go". I can't in any way or form support hurt/harmful shaming.

That being said; I really can't see the whole great idea of drinking so much that you pass out. If you can't figure out how to hold back and drink some water now and again so that you can fairly safe navigate home into your own bed, but feel the need to drink so much that you pass out time and time again, then you maybe need a little "encouragement" from your friends to stop that behaviour.
Drawing up the lines, so to speak, then I fail to see the harmlessness in piling furniture and other household objects on someone because I will bet you that someone will suffocate or be crushed to death by the furniture when that drunk 400lb guy who think it could be fun with him on top of the jenga pile when the picture is taken, while a little ink on your face wont do you no harm other than maybe give you a rosy cheek for a short while.

As to the whole porn thing... I don't really get it... but then again there's lots of stuff I don't get.

P.S. Yes, I do know that I am somewhat contradicting myself from my last post.
