The real question is why the hell would they let JP do stand-up?

I've been saying for years that JP should do stand up. Sure, he needs to write better material. But his strength is thinking on his feet.

"How about that Hitler guy eh..."

I liked that segment, but I think that was exactly the problem - he wasn't just spitting out a gem during a discussion, the room was focused on him & I think that threw him off a little. Jipper jokes (tm) have been & still are one of my favorite parts of the BN, for that reason. Long live the Jipp!

He's like an flip side Joe Piscopo. Piscopo was always good with skit comedy and rehearsed stuff, but he sucked at spontaneous standup. JP is just the opposite. He is some much better on the fly than rehearsed.

I remember Piscopo getting boo'd off that stage at Dartmouth College (I didn't go there but lived close by ) doing stand-up. They wouldn't stop until the opening act came back out...now that was funny!

I listened just yesterday I didn't think the interview went wrong either..... As for CYBI and Brew Strong. I have to say that I will listen when it (hopefully) goes back to homebrewing, but I'm also not looking to open a brewery or get a job as a por brewer. I do very much enjoy the content of the Session brings to the plate even though I was not happy when the content moved tword interviewing craft and pro brewers and started moveing away from home brewing, but lets face it like Justin had said how many times can you talk about mash temps, and water. I know this is just kinda the same as what most of you had already said but I wanted to show my support. I love the BN!
