How does the whole consuming homebrew thing work in a establishment that has a liquor license? I know there was talk about serving homebrew at festivals (i.e. Winter Brews Fest) with the change in the laws, but does this also apply to the bars/bottle shops?

And that's reason #3 why 'Partying with Tasty' is on my bucket list...

Ooo, Ooo, pick me, pick me, I know what the first 2 are.. and the next pair, and the next pair...

I had a couple beers with Tasty at GABF... and got drug across the crowded hall to taste this hoppy brown ale at the proam booth... Janet's something or another. I forget, but it's was a somewhat ok beer. I can die happy.

I don't know, wait till they have the "rape culture" discussion again. I just see some uppity bitch barge into the studio and grab Justin by his junk. Ok, maybe it will be good radio after all.

In California:
The serving of homebrew at charity events (and the Winter Brews Fest is a charity event with a one day license) will be legal on 1/01/14.
All alcohol served at a licensed premise has to have been obtained from a source that's licensed to sell alcohol. That's the standard three tier system. That said, homebrew gets served in bars all the time and I've never heard of any license getting dinged.

I bring my homebrew to local bars and drink them with the owners all the time, as long as I also buy beer from them as well it's all good.

I bet they'd get pretty cheesed off if I only drank my beer in their bar, that's like bringing your own foods to eat in a restaurant and junk.

I do it all the time too but it's still putting the owner's CA license in jeopardy. I wouldn't call that "all good".
