DOTW Attempt

Mon Dec 06, 2010 8:02 am

I called a ton of times once I hear DOTW was going on, it was busy each time and I FINALLY got through, Beevo put me on hold, as I heard them end the show... She told them there was a DOTW call and J told her they were done. I'm sure whoever won would've kicked my ass anyhow.

Started drinking about an hour before the show as a friend and I doughed in for our Scottich 80.

These were pints and all hombrewed:
Doppelbock - 3
Cider - 1
Smoked Porker - 2
Blonde - 1
Some random one - 2

May not sound like a lot to some but it was enough to get me wrecked. Going to download the show now as I missed most of it between brewing, drinking and shooting the shit.

Actually it did :) Or so says my friend whose house I was at. We doughed in about an hour before the show, and the end of the brew decided to go with no chill :P Left it in the keg/kettle with the lid on top overnight in midthirty degree weather. He racked into our cornies to ferment in and said we hit 1.064, 74% efficiency.. not bad, and in about a week we'll rack to other kegs and carbonate! Woot, beer!
