Oskar Blues -- Gordon

Mon Mar 31, 2008 10:01 am

I'm looking for some Oskar Blues "Gordon" in cans. That's right cans. We have it here in Asheville but it can be tough to find sometimes and retardedly expensive.

I was hoping maybe one of the Army living in or near Colorado might have access to this beer (hopefully at a decent price) and would be willing to trade for some east coast beer?

Badrock? ;)

I do have access but the price is still high, IMO. They are getting $12/4pk.
What are you paying?

What's considered "retardedly expensive"? We have it here in GA for around $10 a four-pack. How much you looking for?

Sorry, macgruffus. How is it that you have it cheaper 1000 miles away? That's one thing I have never understood about the distribution network.

It's anywhere from $12.50-$14.00 per 4-pack here. I think it's a great beer but $12-$14 is a bit much for four of those, in my mind. I like the beer and had hopes that it might be cheaper closer to it's brewery. ;)

Usually has to do with taxes and volume...

Of course, the answer is to become a distributor and save all that retail mark-up. Or better yet ... homebrew!
