It's ironic that you have chosen the 3 hops most homebrewers and pro brewers make terrible beers with. I have had a couple great ones, but many bad ones with these 3.

I think they all have the potential to be wonderful, it's the brewer.

Citra, got 5 lbs. in the hop freezer! Great hop which can give a hop sweetness if used in heavy dosing. Seems to add to a golden yellow hue to the beer. I haven't had an great one under 7% ABV. I had to brew a NY state hop only beer for samples @ a upcoming hop growing demo. It had to be newbie palate friendly. Centennial, Crystal, Willamette. The NY Gov's girlfriend wants to change the farm labor laws so that will probably put the knife into any chances of reviving NY hops.

It is the brewer that controls a beer's taste, so have fun with it!
