Wyeast 1028 London Ale

Is this yeast a slow starter?

I pitched some last night and I am at about 18 hour lag time, although the smack pack didn't inflate as enthusiastically as the 1968 I pitched last week, they both had the same manufacturing dates Nov '07.

The 1968 was one of the quickest starts I have had in a while.

No just pitched the package @ 68 with about a minute of pure O2.

Looks like its going to take off here in a few more hours.

The 1968 went into a 1040 OG
The Londen Ale went into a 1048 OG
