favorite lager yeast?

What strain of liquid lager yeast does everybody prefer brewing with for malty lagers (bocks, oktoberfest, etc)?

WLP833 is my absolute favorite for those styles, an it also makes a killer helles. It is a total malt showcase lager yeast.

Is that the WY Hellabock strain?

I have used Wyeast Bohemian Lager many times with much success. I do have to say I make lighter beers but it does make a great Oktoberfest.

Yeah, I have used WY Bavarian Lager, WL Oktoberfest blend, WY bohemian lager, WY hellabock, WL Southern German Lager. My personal favorite of those was WY hellabock simply for its consistency in performance and flavor. I always knew what to expect with that strain, while I have felt that the others could be a bit dodgy at times. Just curious to see what other strains people were preferring and why....
