Thu Mar 01, 2012 9:26 pm

I was reading on my brew clubs FB page that one of the followers posted that Mott's apple cider and Nottingham make crazy amounts of H2S (hydrogen sulfide) I know that in some wine must's this is posiball and I do know the dangers of H2S ( I worked out in the oil field for 15 years) But does Nottingham and apple juice give off H2S??? :bnarmy:

Put some copper sulphate in there and it will get rid of it.

I've used Mott's but not with Nottingham. Never noticed an issue.
