Yeah, i've heard a lot about this "brewdroid" i think things are slow in IL and Bub's just having a little fun with us.

But brewdroid or not, can a heat source in a fridge really keep a lagering temp in the midst of single digit temps without running constantly?

depends on how big your heat source is, and how good the fridge is... but yes with ease.
