I just finished listening to the Sunday food show. Now I want to deep fry a turkey marinated with Ommegang.
Lots of people buy turkey fryers for making beer, but I want to use my converted keg for deep frying a turkey. Ill take out the thermometer (doesn't go high enough) and remove the gasket from the pickup tube. Possibly remove the ball valve completely, I don't know if it could handle the heat if it has teflon or plastic parts.
Would you do it with your boil kettle?
